SpeedGen does not use Excel Automation, it writes Excel files at the binary level instead. That is part the of the reason it is so fast, the other reason is that it is fully optimized for speed and memory conservation.

SpeedGenNET is an ultra-fast .NET Excel Spreadsheet Generator for Server (Active Server Pages - ASP.NET) or Desktop (VB.NET, C#) environments.

Requirements: Should be installed Microsoft Framework .NET v1.1 or Microsoft Framework .NET v2.0
Also we recommend to install Service Pack1 for .NET v1.1
